Amethyst is a handy water filter jug with a simple design and is comfortable to look at and use daily. Compact and ergonomic, with its moderate color line, Amethyst jug fits inside the refrigerator door for even greater space efficiency.

A small movement with the slider lid will make it even easier to fill the funnel when space under the tap is limited. The replacement filter in our popular oval fit irreversibly reduces harmful substances such as organic compounds, iron, lead and chlorine, removes sediment and odor. All parts of the product are produced of food-grade materials and are BPA-free.

How it works

Aquaphor B25

Once prepared for use in accordance with owners’ manual, the filter jug purifies water poured into the funnel by running it through the filter under the force of gravity. Filter cartridge irreversibly traps contaminants, thanks to a patented sorption mix with Aqualen.

Replace filter timely. In case your water has high level of sediment or other contamination, filter may require earlier replacement.

How to use an Aquaphor Amethyst water pitcher with popular oval fit of replacement cartridges (Maxtra type) replacement filter

Prior to the first usage, hand-wash the jug, the funnel and the lid with the mild detergent. Place the funnel inside the jug. Soak the filter in water for 10 minutes and install it into the funnel. Check that the filter sits firmly in its socket. Fix the lid on top of the jug. Fill the funnel with tap water, let it run through the filter and then discard (repeat this step two times). Your Amethyst jug is ready to filter!
